HOW TO FIND YOUR 20

First, many people fear change; they fear change almost as much as they fear death and/or public speaking this fear holds many people back from pursuing and ultimately achieving their dreams. However, the first step is realizing this in yourself. Then you can work to change it.

An idea needs a champion. A champion must find 20 people to follow the idea to success. Most of us can easily garner up the support of 20 people to become champions (just look at the number of social media “friends” you have!). In reality, this can take a lot of work, risk, and, yes, change.

More obituaries should have listed the cause of death, “But we have never done it this way”! My point here is that there are infinite ways to do things, and if you have an idea of a better way to do something, you need to do it! Most millionaires have taken the work from others and taken their ideas and made it better. Steve Jobs is the ultimate example of this.

You must be ready to walk away from individuals or groups of people who are stagnant and uninspiring. Those who resist your ideas, are against you, or won’t support you need to go. However, many people are too concerned with hurting others’ feelings to do so. Instead, they hang out with the same crowd and then they wonder why their society-changing idea never got off the ground.

The only thing that you can actually count on is death. Death drives fear and ultimately it is what drove the fear of COVID-19. The world shut down due to a fear of death — an inevitable part of life no one can stop. So live your life and bring your ideas to fruition to your fullest capacity!
